The Beautiful Minds Podcast
Hi, I'm Hannah - A expert in Mental Health and a survivor of suicide.
This podcast is all about real conversation; offering guests an open space to share life experiences and discuss taboo subjects around mental wellbeing. The increase in Mental ill health is rising in all communities, so it is more important than ever that safe spaces are created; where everyone is encouraged to discuss their struggles and be supported without judgement. That is why I am so passionate about sharing the benefits of self development for a better mental health, because it is what I needed at my darkest time.
This content comes with TRIGGER warnings as it maybe too real for some to hear. But it is some ones reality right?!
Welcome to The Beautiful Minds podcast- I hope you enjoy it!

The impact of the corporate world with Ian Hurst
For 17 years, Ian Hurst was your typical suit.
Every day he commuted into London, holding a high level of responsibility in global insurance for high profile clients like Nestle, Bentley and Rolls Royce. Making good money, he could offset the stressful work environment and five-hour commute, with evenings and weekends spent socialising; drinking and eating out, before returning home to his young family and pretending that everything was as fine.
One day on a business flight back home. out of nowhere Ian broke down.
Acknowledging that something had to change. Taking some much needed time out, he went on a mental health first aid course. For Ian, it was transformative.
Having reeducated himself, Ian decided to take redundancy and create ‘We Are Hummingbird Health’ becoming a full-time mental health and suicide prevention instructor.
